A few simple guidelines to help our communications team serve you and the church family well.
All submissions for Sunday must arrive by Wednesday at 12:00 PM.
Our communications team uses Wednesday afternoon and Thursday to design, format, and prepare materials for Sunday. After Wednesday at noon, we generally cannot guarantee inclusion in that week's bulletin or worship slides.
Late submissions are still welcome — we'll do our best — but they're more likely to appear the following Sunday rather than the immediate one.
Submit ministry events at least 90 days before they happen.
This isn't a rule, it's a strategy. Big ministry events — conferences, revivals, banquets, retreats — need real promotion to succeed. That means custom graphics, multiple bulletin appearances, social media buildup, signage, and pulpit announcements over several weeks.
If you submit 90+ days out, we can build a full rollout. If you submit 30–90 days out, we can promote — but with less runway. Under 30 days is tight, and we'll do our best, but expect a smaller turnout than if you'd submitted earlier.
When you submit an event on the form, you'll see a live indicator showing where your event falls on this timeline.
Each submission can be published across one or many channels — you tell us which on the form. Our team then adapts your content for each channel (a 200-word announcement becomes a 15-word slide, etc).
Our communications team reviews every submission. We may make small edits for the sake of clarity, consistency, and our editorial standards. We won't change the substance of your message.
Every submission is reviewed by a real person. The pace and process depends on what you're sharing — different types follow different tracks.
Celebrations are time-sensitive. Submit by Wednesday and your announcement makes that Sunday's bulletin and worship slides.
Each person gets their own entry — we don't batch multiple birthdays together. Sister Johnson's 75th deserves her own moment, not a list.
These submissions bypass the normal queue. Pastor Johnson and our care team are notified privately within hours.
Nothing is published publicly until the family consents. We reach out to the family first, always.
Now that you know how it works — head over to the form and tell us what's happening.
